I wanted to just say that I've started to hear from a few parent friends who home school that they're also looking to online colleges as supplemental education sources for their kids, once they are at about an 8th grade level. Obviously online classes can't provide everything, but I'v heard they can be a nice addition to an already established home-school curriculum. Online classes aren't hard to find, but one CampusExplorer.com is one site I've noticed that offers good data and advice on the credibility of online classes. They provide info on offline (i.e. traditional) schools primarily, but also offer a good batch of online programs that may benefit the needs of a home schooler.
